Are we floating away?

  My mom called me yesterday saying Bakersfield had been on the news the last two days. Were we floating away? I am happy to report that  Bakersfield is Not totally flooded. Their are a few streets that they had closed off, but most of the town is just very wet. The vineyards and orchards are soaked but not completely flooded. After four days and nights of rain it finally stopped and the sun came out all day yesterday. This morning we woke up to more rain, but just a little drizzle, not a downpour. We are doing great and are nice and dry.
